Maria Ante is the practicing attorney for Walker Ante Law. Maria graduated from Ursuline Academy high school in Blue Ash, OH in 2002, Northern Kentucky University in 2006, and Northern Kentucky University, Chase Law School in 2010. Maria has been practicing law in OH since 2010 and KY since 2011. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, and Kentucky Bar Association.
Maria’s background includes extensive experience in the insurance industry, working in an independent agency for seven years as a managing partner. While working in the insurance business, Maria attended law school in the evenings and graduated from Chase Law School in May, 2010, Cum Laude. Maria is a determined, independent, compassionate, and driven individual, eager to offer her talents to her clients and her community.
Maria currently resides in Villa Hills, KY with her husband Tim, son Beau, daughter Rory, and their Siberian Huskies Truman. She is an avid runner, fitness enthusiast, and high school basketball coach. Maria runs in local running events with friends, plays basketball, attends concerts, loves to read, loves to travel, and spends most of her free time enjoying the company of her family.
A native of the coalfields of southeastern Kentucky, Ryan believes that to whom much is given, much is required. Ryan was taught by his father, a prosecutor and Baptist preacher, to practice humility, protect the vulnerable, and to have passion for justice. Ryan joins his father and also his brother, who has served as Floyd County’s Commonwealth’s Attorney since 2000, in believing that juries are the most powerful safeguard against greed, danger, and evil. Ryan chose to focus his legal practice in the civil, rather than the criminal, justice system as a means of making communities safe. When you work with Ryan, you work with an idealist – someone who believes in his cause. It is this conviction that gives him the energy and raw sincerity necessary to fight the good fight, especially if that means taking your case to a jury.

Having trained in some of Kentucky’s preeminent injury firms, Ryan has a deep understanding of what it takes to successfully represent the vulnerable against increasingly callous and hostile corporations.

Ryan’s practice focuses on personal injury and wrongful death litigation and trial practice, including: motor vehicle wrecks; tractor trailer wrecks; motorcycle wrecks; defective vehicles, including sudden acceleration and airbag defects; defective medical devices; premises liability; general negligence; uninsured and underinsured motorist claims; bad faith; property damage claims; general insurance claims and appeals; and, medical malpractice. In 2012, he obtained a significant jury verdict for a single mother with a special needs child, as reported in the Kentucky Trial Court Review (Ramey vs. Thacker, et al.).
